Ayesha Takia is best remembered as the Complan Girl who grew up to be Meera in Dor. I’m a Complan Girl  Ayesha was born on April 10th 1986 in Mumbai. Her father Nishit is a Gujrathi while her
mother Faridah is an Anglo-Indian Muslim. She has a younger sister called Natasha. She studied at the Anthony’s High School but did not pursue her education any further as she  started her career in show business when she was as young as fifteen.   She was dating Farhan Azmi and the wedding bells are ready to ring for this couple very soon.  Ayesha was part of a popular Complan advertisement. She was also part of two music videos – Falguni Pathak’s Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye and DJ Aqeel’s Shake It Daddy.
Ayesha Takia who has been lying low post her marriage has signed Nakesh Kukunoor’s film where she will be seen in a no makeup avatar.You have seen her in a deglam look in Nagesh Kukunoor’s critically acclaimed ‘Dor’. Ayesha Takia will once again be seen sans any makeup in Nagesh Kukunoor’s next film. Ayesha has signed Nagesh Kukunoor’s next film. Ayesha who was in talks with Nagesh since past few months has finally signed the film.  He roams around freely without any fear with his set of friends-cum-henchmen. He runs into Janhavi (Ayesha), a pretty call-centre worker and as the lecherous police inspector Talpade (Mahesh Manjrekar) devises ways and means to captivate Jahnavi, uncannily Radhe rescues her every time and eventually the two end up getting romantically involved.

 She helps Jai solve the mystery behind the murder of his father. She also helps him channelize his gift of looking at the past with the help of a photo. However, it turns out that she is only tricking Jai into finding out the secret about his evil twin brother who they believed was long dead. It also turns out that Ayesha is the girlfriend of Jeet Puri, the evil brother of Jai Puri. In a fight between Jai and Jeet in the climax, Jeet and Ayesha are killed.
